Broncos take 68-second moment of silence in memory of Jamal Williams amidst MAC mental health awareness week

Several WMU athletic teams took 68-second moments of silence Wednesday in honor of Jamal Williams, a former Bronco who was killed by security in an Indiana Hospital this June.

The moments of silence were taken as the Mid-American Conference recognizes mental health awareness week, as Williams was checked into Community Hospital in Munster, Ind. for concerns about his mental health. Williams wore No. 68 for the Broncos.

The WMU student-athlete advisory committee announced that the athletics programs would be honoring Williams with a Tweet Wednesday afternoon.

Good afternoon everyone.
