Broncos Sweep Tigers After a Wild 5-4 Win

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The fifth-ranked Western Michigan hockey team completed the road sweep of Colorado College after a crazy 5-4 win at Robson Arena on Saturday night.

With the game tied at 4-4 late in the third period Aidan Fulp corralled the puck after a save by Brandon Bussi and chipped it ahead to Cole Gallant in the neutral zone. Gallant took off down the ice for the 2-on-1 rush and passed it to Ethen Frank to the left of the slot and the fifth-year senior buried it for his 19th goal of the season and the game-winner with 3:16 left to play.
