The Western Michigan Broncos Hockey team traveled to North Dakota this past weekend to face the #11 Fighting Hawks. The Broncos are coming back home with a sweep and finally reaching .500 again.
Western Michigan took the first game 2-0 on Friday. This was their second shutout of the season.
This was the Broncos first ever shut out against the Fighting Hawks in the all time series.
Senior goaltender Trevor Gorsuch flexed his talent between the pipes as he recorded a career high 32 saves and recorded his third win of the season in his sixth start of the year.
