DEKALB, Ill. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team remained undefeated in Mid-American Conference competition after defeating Northern Illinois at NIU's Quad Meet on Friday night.
The Broncos bested the Huskies 195.350-194.675. WMU also picked up wins over UW-La Crosse (193.125) and UW-Whitewater (190.900).
Individually, Cassie St. Clair and Halle Faulkner tied for first place on vault with scores of 9.875. Abby Singh tied for third place with a 9.850. Singh was also WMU's top performer on bars, taking second place with 9.825. Payton Murphy and Breckin Quoss were in a three-way tie for third place with NIU's Natalie Kraus after posting 9.
