Broncos split road series with Miami

Freshman defenseman Cam Lee would score his first goal of the season with a little over five minutes left in the first period to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead. Lee slapped a shot from center that would find its way to the back of net. Senior forward Aaron Hadley and senior forward Michael Rebry both picked up the assists on the goal.

The RedHawks would tie the game up in the second period thanks to a shorthanded goal by junior defenseman Louie Belpedio. A few minutes later though WMU freshman forward Hugh McGing would net his third goal on the season giving the Broncos a 2-1 lead.
