KALAMAZOO, Mich. – With the conclusion of the regular season, Western Michigan will now begin postseason play at St. Cloud State in the NCHC Quarterfinals.
The Broncos earned the No. 6 seed, while the Huskies claimed the No. 3 seed in the conference. The best-of-three series will begin on March 15 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Puck drop for Friday's series opener is set for 8:30 PM ET.
The Brown and Gold finished the regular season with a 20-13-1 overall record and 11-13 conference mark. The Broncos and Huskies squared off just a couple of weeks ago, with the two teams splitting the series.
