KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team's duo of Anton Arzhankin and Fynn Lohse won flight one of the doubles tournament as the Broncos wrapped up hosting the first two days of the 2012 Mid-American Conference Indoors at West Hills Athletic Club.
Arzhankin and Loshe opened up the tournament beating Toledo's Shoults and Somlaksup 8-3. In the second round they bested Binghamton's Pergel and Verma, 8-6. Also competing in Flight 1 was WMU's Peter Kuszynski and Ferdinand Schlueter. They earned a win over Ball State's De Negri and Kovacevic 8-6 and then defeated Northern Illinois team of Malinen and Spolidorio 8-7 (4).
