EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Western Michigan baseball team had its first game of a three game series at Evansville suspended, as the Broncos were up 9-0 going into the eighth inning. The two teams will finish the first game at 3 p.m., eastern and then play game two of the series immediately following.
Through the first seven innings of play, Tanner Allison went 2-of-4 at the plate and threw out an Evansville player trying to score in the first inning. The Broncos held a 2-0 lead through the first five innings of play, before breaking out for seven runs in the sixth and seventh innings to push the lead to 9-0.
