Broncos Remain Undefeated at Home with Win Over William & Mary

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated the University of William & Mary 6-1 inside the West Hills Athletic Club on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos improve to 8-1 overall, 5-0 at home and extend their winning streak to five.

WMU got off to a steaming start sweeping the doubles point. The new duo of juniors Lenhard Haupt and Kris Knof got it started off winning their doubles match 6-3, and improving to 1-0 together.

The Brown and Gold did not look back as they won the first five singles matches with wins coming from Maik Steiner (6-1,6-2), Haupt (6-1,6-4), Jannik Opitz (6-1,6-4), Eric Olivarez (6-2,7-5), and Matej Svjetlicic (5-7,6-4,10-8).
