KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After an off week in the schedule, the Western Michigan hockey team was able to maintain its spot in the latest national polls.
The Broncos remained at No. 7 in both the USCHO and USA Hockey polls. Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Minnesota Duluth and North Dakota were the top five teams in the USCHO poll, while Denver replaced UND in the USA Hockey rankings.
NCHC wise, WMU was joined by UMD, UND, DU, Miami and Colorado College. Arizona State and St. Cloud State were receiving votes in the rankings. Omaha was the lone conference team not featured in this week's polls.
