Broncos Post Second Straight Win with a 1-0 Upset

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over #22 Loyola Marymount at the WMU Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon in the first ever meeting between the schools. The Broncos, who were celebrating Alumni Weekend, improve to 6-4 on the year and have now won two straight matches, following their road win against Xavier on Tuesday. Western Michigan now leads the Mid-American Conference in shutout victories with five during the 2019 season.

"Credit to our guys on the day as they found a way to beat a top 25 team," said head coach Chad Wiseman.
