Broncos pick up much needed road win over Miami (OH), 64-60

WMU forward Brandon Johnson rose up for a jump shot with 36.9 seconds remaining and found the bottom of the net on a bank shot to break a 58-all tie.

That would propel WMU to a 64-60 road win on Tuesday night at Miami (OH), their first win on the road since Feb. 23, 2018.

The victory snapped the Broncos road-losing streak in the conference at 14 games. Johnson led the offensive charge with 21 points for the Broncos, shooting 7-of-10 from the field and shooting the same from the free-throw line.

Guard Michael Flowers pitched in with 16 points on 2-for-7 from the field while connecting on 11 of his 12 free throw attempts to help the Broncos ice the game.
