KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan women's basketball sophomore guard Lauren Ross has been named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season after an emphatic week that featured a career-high 37-point performance behind enemy lines against the Ohio Bobcats.
Ross was also named MAC Player of the Week in December, and is the first Bronco to earn the achievement twice in the same season since Breanna Mobley, who accomplished the feat twice during the 2016-17 campaign. During WMU's three games last week against Buffalo, Akron, and Ohio, Ross averaged an astounding 25.
