Broncos Honor Marshawn Kneeland In Tuesday Night Game

Former Western Michigan Bronco and Dallas Cowboy Marshawn Kneeland was honored on Tuesday night, as WMU defeated Ohio 17-13. Kneeland was a member of the WMU football team from 2019-2023.

Kneeland died sometime in between Wednesday night Nov. 5 and Thursday morning Nov. 6 in what Frisco Police believe to be a suicide.

Kneeland was in the midst of his second year in the NFL, and was coming off of a game in which he scored his first career touchdown in the NFL.

“We honored his life and legacy tonight,” said Head Coach Lance Taylor who wore Kneeland’s WMU 99 jersey pregame.
