Broncos Fall to No. 1 North Dakota, 6-3

OMAHA, Neb. – The Western Michigan hockey team had its three-game unbeaten streak snapped after a 6-3 loss to No. North Dakota in its seventh game of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Pod on Sunday evening at Baxter Arena.

The Broncos picked up goals from Ethen Frank, Brett Van Os and Drew Worrad but were unable to keep up with the Fighting Hawks on the night.

UND jumped out to a 3-0 lead with two goals in the second-half of the first period and one early in the third.
