Nick Blankenburg scored from the top of the right circle with 2:38 remaining in the overtime period to give the Wolverines the win.
The game was tied late in the third period when Michael Joyaux fired a shot from the right point and Ethen Frank deflected it into the net but the goal was overturned after review because it was ruled that Frank touched it with a high stick.
