Broncos Fall to Flames

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team saw its five-match winning streak snapped, falling to Illinois-Chicago, 4-3, at Sorensen Courts on Thursday afternoon.

The Broncos earned the doubles point after picking up wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Lindsey Ziegler was paired up with Kaitlyn Rogosch and defeated Tamara Malazonia and Marina Hermanny 6-4 at No. 2. WMU secured the point with Karin Hamilton and Kristina Tiraspolsky beating Dominika Hrabalova and Lea Forste-Dinell 6-3.

The Flames won four of the six singles matches to take the victory.
