Broncos Fall to Cardinals, 6-1

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team fell on the road at Ball State, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.

BSU took the doubles point, 2-0, with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 by the duos of Victoria Sec and Livia Lukacs and Mariya Polishchuk and Jessica Braun.

In singles play earned WMU's point after an impressive 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 5 over Lukacs. Junior gave Braun a battle at No. 2, falling 5-7, 6-7 (3-7), while Kaitlyn Rogosh took Amy Kaplan to three sets but fell 1-6, 7-5, 0-1 (8-10).
