TOLEDO, Ohio – The Western Michigan women's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking 69-68 overtime game inside Savage Arena to the Toledo Rockets on Saturday afternoon. The loss hands the Broncos its second straight and are now 14-12 overall and 7-7 in the Mid-American Conference.

"I am bummed that we lost today but also happy that we gave ourselves a chance at the end," commented WMU head coach . "All of our conference games have been so close this season with maybe exception of one game. It is a matter of getting the breaks at the right times and getting the ball to bounce our way in these one or two possession games.
