ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team fell on the road at the University of Michigan, 4-0, on Thursday night.
WMU senior goalkeeper had a career-high 12 saves but the Broncos were unable to break through against the Wolverines.
Michigan took a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute on a goal by Hannah Blake from just outside the center-left area of the box. Meredith Haakenson set it up for Blake and she drove the ball low into the bottom-left corner of the net.
WMU had good chances in the first half to tie up the game.
