OXFORD, Ohio – The Western Michigan women's soccer team fell to Miami, 2-1, in its final road game of the season on Sunday.
The loss eliminates the Broncos from finishing in the top six of the Mid-American Conference and making the MAC Tournament.
The RedHawks drew first blood in the 28th minute on a goal by Jordan King and set up by Kristina DeMarco. The goal was King's first of the season.
The Broncos trailed heading into the second half but squared up the game in the 59th minute. Morgan Otteson scored her fourth goal of the season and second on the week to tie it up at 1-1, with Mary Dziuba setting up the goal and earning the assist.
