KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan gymnastics team defeated Eastern Michigan 194.650 to 193.950 Sunday on Senior Day at University Arena.
The Broncos had the top individual finisher in three events and two of the top three scores in three events.
Western Michigan started the meet off with a solid 48.750 on the vault and scored a season-high 49.050 on the uneven bars in the second rotation. The 49.050 also stands as the sixth best bars team score in school history. WMU had four routines 9.800 or better, with junior Amelia Mohler winning the event with a season-high 9.
