Broncos Down Cougars in OT

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Sophomore midfielder fired a penalty kick into the back of the net just 3:42 into overtime to give the Western Michigan men's soccer team a 2-1 road win over Spring Arbor on Wednesday afternoon.

The Broncos (2-1-0) played the ball into the 18-yard box. Sophomore forward tried to shoot but the ball deflected off of a SAU defender's arm and the referee called a hand ball. Keenan stepped up to the penalty spot and placed a hard shot center-left of the goal and past the keeper for his first goal of the season.
