Western Michigan won its third game in a row, and second in Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos move to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in the MAC, as they remain tied at the top of the conference with Buffalo.
WMU succeeded in controlling the ball, as it racked up 217 yards on the ground.
Quarterback Broc Lowry has continued his stretch of good play since being named the starter. Lowry led the Broncos on the ground with 92 yards, and added 163 yards through the air. He also added a touchdown through each method.
Jalen Buckley returned from injury, and added 60 yards on 12 carries.
