Broncos Complete Day Two of Spring Games

LONGWOOD, Fla.- The Western Michigan softball team went up against Dartmouth and Kentucky on day two of the Spring Games, dropping game one to the Big Green by a 3-1 decision, and falling to the Wildcats 13-0 in five innings.

In game one, Dartmouth took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second and added two more in the fifth, off a solo shot home run and an RBI single from Loghan Thomas. The game stayed scoreless until the top of the seventh inning when freshman Courtney Farrish hit a home run, the first of her career as a Bronco, to put a run on the board for the Brown & Gold.
