Broncos Cap Off Historic Season With Dominant Win at the Myrtle Beach Bowl

CONROY, S.C. -- The Western Michigan football team earned its fourth bowl win in program history after a dominant 41-6 win over Conference USA Champions Kennesaw State at the Myrtle Beach Bowl at Brooks Stadium on Friday afternoon.

Redshirt junior running back Jalen Buckley was named the bowl's MVP after rushing for 174 yards on just eight carries and a touchdown. The WMU (10-4, 7-1 MAC) defense produced two touchdowns on a strip sack fumble return and a pick six. The victory gave WMU 10 on the season, becoming just the second team in program history to reach 10 wins.
