CLEARWATER, Fla.- The Western Michigan softball team was edged in two games Friday afternoon, falling to St. John's 5-4 in eight innings and Chattanooga, 2-1.
Sophomore finished the day batting .571, going 4-for-7 with two home runs, a double and four RBIs.
Stefanick drove in all four runs against St. John's, hitting a pair of two-run homers. She went deep in the top of the first, giving WMU a 2-0 advantage, and hit her second home run in the top of third to extend the Broncos' lead to 4-1.
Junior scored on each of Stefanick's long balls.
