Bronco softball splits doubleheader with Bowling Green in home finale

Bronco softball split a doubleheader Wednesday against the Bowling Green Falcons, winning the first game 2-1 and losing the second game by a score of 3-1. The split brings the Broncos’ record to 14-34 on the year.

The first game was a pitcher’s duel between Reily Galloway for the Broncos and the Falcon’s Payton Gottshall. Galloway ended the game with a complete outing and earned the win. She allowed seven hits and one earned run in seven innings of work. Gottshall suffered the narrow loss and also pitched a complete game, allowing two earned runs on eight hits with two walks and six strikeouts.
