CLEVELAND -- The Western Michigan softball program placed 11 student-athletes on the 2021 Academic All-MAC softball team, announced by the league on Tuesday, June 22.
The 11 selections for 's squad matches the most selections for WMU since the current process was adopted in 2015. The 11 Broncos on the list trailed only Ball State (13), Toledo (13) and Bowling Green (12). A total of 116 student-athletes qualified for the honor across the league this season.
To be selected Academic All-MAC, a player must appear in 50-percent of its team's games played during the season and maintain a 3.
