KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team picked up its first win of the season, downing Ferris State 6-4 on Friday night at Ewigleben Ice Arena.
The Broncos had six different goal scorers, seeing tallies from Zack Sharp, Zaccharya Wisdom, William Whitelaw, Zach Nehring, Sam Huck and Owen Michaels.
FIRST PERIOD
The Brown and Gold came out on the attack, getting a shot from Liam Valente in the opening 20 seconds. That was followed by a solid look from Michaels.
