KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's basketball team takes on Akron this evening, Friday, Jan. 6. Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. and the game will be aired on the CBS Sports Network.
The Broncos enter Friday night's contest against the Zips with a 4-9 overall, 0-1 Mid-American Conference record. Akron is 1-0 in the MAC and 11-3 overall.
WMU returns from the road trip for back-to-back home games against Toledo on Jan. 10 and Kent State Jan. 14.
