Bronco Hockey Powers Past Bowling Green, 5-2

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Western Michigan hockey team scored four goals in the first period and never looked back to complete the season sweep of Bowling Green, winning 5-2 on the road on Thursday night.

Wade Allison led all Broncos (11-8-1) with three points on a goal and two assists. Freshman forward Austin Rueschhoff had two goals, while Corey Schueneman and Dawson DiPietro each had two assists on the night. Sophomore forward Hugh McGing was the fifth WMU player with multiple points, tallying a goal and an assist.
