KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Wade Allison scored two goals and Colt Conrad had three assists as the ninth-ranked Western Michigan hockey team put up five goals on the third-best defensive team in the nation, beating No. 18 Colgate 5-3 at Lawson Ice Arena on Friday night.
Allison netted his ninth and 10th goals of the season for the Broncos (9-4-1, 5-1-0 NCHC), while Josh Passolt, Colt Conrad and Dawson DiPietro also had goals on the night. DiPietro had an assist for a multi-point game, joining his linemates Conrad and Allison.
