Western Michigan baseball scored no fewer than nine runs in all four games of a series split at Toledo.
The series kicked off Friday with a 16-13 win for the Broncos. In the win, Connor Charping had seven RBI, tied for the second-most in a single game in WMU history, going 3-4 with a double and a home run. Ethan Hajdukovic was also a major contributor, hitting a grand slam and putting up six RBI of his own.
Saturday’s doubleheader got underway with a 15-6 win for the Broncos behind four home runs, assisted by a stiff wind blowing out to left field.
