Fall football in the MAC is back.
On Friday, the 12 presidents from the Mid-American Conference voted unanimously to reinstate fall football, walking back its initial decision to postpone the season amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A six-game, conference only schedule will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 4 and will conclude on Dec. 18 or 19 with the MAC championship game.
“I am pleased to inform our student athletes, coaches, and fans, that the Mid-American Conference will resume the fall football season,” said MAC Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher.
