CLEVELAND – Coming off his first career complete game on Saturday, Western Michigan baseball freshman right handed pitcher Brady Miller has been named Mid-American Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
In game two of its three-game series with Ohio this past weekend Miller pitched all nine innings, allowing just one run on eight hits with five strikeouts and zero walks. Of Miller's eight hits given up, none were for extra-bases. Miller became the first Bronco since Keegan Akin in 2016 to toss a complete game.
On Saturday, Miller won his third straight start and improved his overall record to 5-2 and a lowered his ERA to a team-best 3.
