CLEVELAND – Former Western Michigan student-athletes Anthony Bowie and Amelia Mohler were named the school's Mid-American Conference 2019-20 Medal of Excellence Award recipients on Tuesday.
The Medal of Excellence, presented annually since 2014, is given to one male and one female student-athlete from the graduating class of each of the league's 12 member institutions.
"The Medal of Excellence Award is a reinforcement of core values that we as a conference and each of our member institutions all possess with excellence in academics, leadership and service," MAC Commissioner Jon A.
