KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan Athletics caught up with former Western Michigan volleyball player Lena Oliver for a Q&A in this edition of Behind the W.
It was a stellar four-year career for Oliver in the Brown & Gold being named 2012 Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year while also earning First Team All-MAC honors three consecutive seasons. Oliver was a two-time Cobra Magazine National Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the 2004-2013 WMU All-Decade Team.
When Oliver completed her career in 2013, she earned a number of special spots in WMU, conference and NCAA history.
