Behind the Bronco bench: Todd Krygier

Krygier is a newcomer to the Bronco hockey coaching staff, having been hired just this past July. He is a veteran of 500+ games in the National Hockey League and played college hockey at the University of Connecticut before getting picked in the 1988 NHL Supplemental Draft by the Hartford Whalers.

Krygier got started in hockey at a very early age.

“I started playing hockey when I was four or five years old, like all of these guys [on the team],” Krygier said. “My parents brought me to watch some games, and it interested me, and I asked my parents if I could do it, and I started playing.
