CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2021 Baseball Academic All-MAC team on Wednesday with Western Michigan baseball leading the conference with 17 Academic All-MAC selections.
WMU led the way with 17 student-athletes on this year's team followed by Miami with 15 and Central Michigan with 14. The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
