Baseball Drops Game Two after Late-Inning Bowling Green Rally

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – A four-run eighth inning by Bowling Green helped the home-team Falcons down the Western Michigan baseball team 8-5 Saturday afternoon at Stellar Field. The Broncos held a 5-4 lead after their two-run top of the eighth inning and outhit Bowling Green 13-9 in the ball game.

WMU will look to take game three of the series on Sunday, May 14 at 1 p.m. with right-hander Kyle Mallwitz scheduled to take the mound for the Broncos.

WMU took a 2-0 lead after the top of the first inning, scoring one run in each the second and third inning.
