KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan baseball head coach Billy Gernon announced on Friday that Matt Hansen will be joining the Bronco staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the upcoming season.
Hansen spent last season as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Toledo where he played from 2015-2018. Hansen replaces Adam Goodwin who recently took a position at Kellogg Community College.
"We are excited to add Matt to our staff. He has established and proven himself as a tireless and dedicated worker as well as a fierce competitor who has a clear passion for the game," said Gernon.
