Aurielle Anderson Returns to WMU as Women's Basketball Assistant Coach

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's basketball team and head coach Kate Achter have announced the hiring of WMU alum Aurielle Anderson to the position of assistant coach.

Anderson joins the Broncos after spending two seasons at Duquesne in the same position. In her two seasons with the Dukes, she helped them to back-to-back 20-win seasons and two trips to the Women's National Invitational Tournament. Anderson assisted in offensive planning and development, leading to a record-breaking 2024-25 season that saw Duquesne set a new program record with 341 made three-pointers in a single season.
