Ohio (0-1)
Ohio turned the reins of its offense over to redshirt freshman Kurtis Rourke, younger brother of last year’s starting quarterback Nathan Rourke, and he completed 12 of 19 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. De’Montre Tuggle added a rushing touchdown and a kick return touchdown, but ultimately the Bobcats came up short against Central Michigan, failing a fourth-and-15 after a holding call and false start set them back with 28 seconds left. Ohio starts the season 0-1 after the 30-27 defeat and hosts Akron next week.
Bowling Green (0-1)
Bowling Green could get nothing done on offense against Toledo, as the Falcons completed just eight of 30 passes for 128 yards and two interceptions.
