KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan football team and head coach Lance Taylor have announced the hiring of André Bernardi to the position of Director of Strength and Conditioning.
Bernardi spent the last seven seasons at Furman in the same position, where he worked with the Paladins' football program and was responsible for the overall operations of the strength and conditioning program and oversight, implementation, and development of performance programming for 16 NCAA Division I programs. He also aided in fundraising and design for a $500,000 weight room renovation.
"I am excited to welcome André Bernardi and his family to Kalamazoo, and to Western Michigan Football as our new Head Strength and Conditioning Coach," said Taylor.
