Allison Scores at Hat Trick as WMU Sweeps Miami

OXFORD, Ohio – Wade Allison netted his third career hat trick as the 12th-ranked Western Michigan hockey team routed Miami, 6-1, to compete the season sweep of the RedHawks on Saturday night.

It's the first season sweep of four games by the Broncos (20-13-1, 13-10-1-1 NCHC) over MU since the 2013-14 season.

Allison added an assist for a four-point night, while linemate Colt Conrad had a goal and three assists to join him with four points. Dawson DiPietro had a goal and an assist for two points, while Corey Schueneman also had a multipoint night with two assists.
