MUNCIE, Ind. – Senior Allison Hufnagel took second place in the heptathlon and junior sprinter Madison Meredith broke the school record in the 100-meter dash to highlight day two of the 2019 Outdoor Mid-American Conference Championships for the Western Michigan track and field team on Friday.
Hufnagel was sitting in fourth place in the heptathlon after four events on Thursday and finished strong in the long jump, javelin and 800-meter run to finish with 4,776 points. She earned eight points toward WMU's team score and was one of three Broncos to score on the day.
