KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan senior designated hitter Abby Stoner was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week Monday, Apr. 24.
Stoner batted .545 (6-for-11) with two home runs, including a grand slam, eight RBIs, six hits, four walks and had a hit in all four of WMU's games this past week as the Broncos faced Notre Dame on the road and played a three-game series at Eastern Michigan.
The Broncos took all three games against EMU for their first MAC sweep of the season. Stoner batted .625 over the three games against the Eagles with seven RBIs and a whopping 1.
