KALAMAZOO, MI -- Western Michigan Broncos hosted the Northern Illinois Huskies for senior night on Tuesday, Nov. 20. The Broncos needed a win to clinch a FBS bowl game with their seventh victory of the season.
They did just that with a 28-21 victory over the Huskies who already clinched the MAC West conference heading into the matchup.
With under two minutes remaining in the game senior running back Jamauri Bogan scored the go-ahead touchdown. On the ensuing Northern drive Harrison Taylor intercepted a pass from Marcus Childers to seal the victory for the Broncos.
The nine football seniors were honored before the game.
