WKU's Wales continues stretch of solid play with big day vs. ODU

Anthony “Ace” Wales set the tone Saturday night for Western Kentucky and continued his recent stretch of solid play.

The Hilltopper running back ran for 30 yards on the game’s opening snap against Old Dominion. Two plays later, Wales went for a 44-yard touchdown, the first of many TDs for WKU in a 59-24 Homecoming demolition of the Monarchs at Houchens-Smith Stadium.

Wales finished the night with 15 carries for 157 yards with two touchdowns. The redshirt senior also added two catches for 25 yards in the passing game.

Wales played a big part in WKU (5-3 overall, 3-1 Conference USA) winning two straight games for the first time this season.
